YesNDR will allow you to receive Non Delivery Reports (NDRs) in Exchange Server 2007 or 2010 Public Folders....

Latest version: 1.4.0.3 - March 24th, 2011

WHY YOU NEED YESNDR...

YesNDR will solve the problem of not being able to receive Non Delivery Notifications and other Exchange 2007 & 2010 system messages (such as delivery notifications, relay notifications and read notifications) when you “Send As” messages from a mail enabled Public Folder.
As you know NDRs are not allowed to be delivered to any mail enabled Exchange 2007 or 2010 Public Folder. In a typical scenario you may use mail enabled public folders to group email messages on a departmental basis. For example you may have a department called “Customer Support” in your company and you would like all outgoing mail to be sent from the departmental email address (i.e. Customer.Support@yourcompany.com) and you would also like to give all your Support department members access to the incoming messages of this email address. So far so good, you can do that easily by mail enabling an Exchange Server Public Folder and assigning the “Send As” permission to the appropriate employees. The problem starts when there is an outgoing message that will generate a Non Delivery Report (i.e. misspelled or non-existent destination email address). By design, Exchange 2007 & 2010 mail enabled Public Folders do not receive the system generated NDR. This means that your users will never know if their messages are delivered or being dropped silently. YesNDR will solve this problem…

NEW!!! Now you can specify a SMTP address where all NDRs processed can be automatically forwarded. Using this feature you will be able to monitor all Non Delivery Reports generated throughout your organization....

NEW!!! Now you can specify  if you need to get a copy of the original message that generated the NDR…

NEW!!! Now you can select which system reports to change. For example you may choose only to process NDRs but leave Delivery Receipts unchanged….

All registered users can use their existing keys with the new version of the software.

HOW IT WORKS

YesNDR is an Exchange 2007 & 2010 Server transport rule written using .NET v2.0 that intercepts all messages going through the Exchange queues.  If it finds a message that is flagged as a system message it changes the “Content-Type” to “multipart/alternative” and submits it back for delivery. After this alteration all NDRs, Delivery Requests Read Receipt Requests can be delivered to any mail enabled Public folder.
